All staff are expected to make sure that in the boards that they post in, everyone is fine and there are no mistakes. If something is wrong, they should then report this to the appropriate staff member.

Staff gain access to the secret planning rooms, and get to have input about planned changes coming to the site, and are consulted about major decisions.

Important: 3 staff members will have to approve a character application. All staff have this power.

Staff Positions

These are the positions that can be applied for.

Global Moderators:
Global Moderator would be a step below Co-Admin. The two positions perform similar tasks, but have different levels of power, a different feel, and Global Moderators have fewer duties than the Co-Admins (who are essentially back-up Administrators). Two people can be Global Moderators.
Description: Global Moderators act like the Welcome Committee/cheering section/human resources department for the site. It is their job to be here often, helping to keep threads active, welcoming new members, helping people who have questions get the right information or get to the right people that can give them answers. They should encourage members to post and be active as well, and keep tabs on the role-play to make sure that people are posting. If they aren't, it's the Global Moderator's job to get in touch with them.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 40 posts. Must be an active member who visits and posts often, who is kind and helpful.
Status: One open position.

Moderator #1:
Description: This position is for a person to keep up with the maintenance if the site itself. These people will correct posts for grammar, spelling, and other errors. They will read the role-play to make sure that there is continuity, and that no one has made mistakes in the storyline. They would help move old threads to archives, help make sure role-play threads that change location are where they are meant to be, and close role-play threads that have ended.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 25 posts, good grammar and spelling skills, and be around the site often.
Status: Filled by Misty.

Moderator #2:
Description: This position is for a person who can advertise for the board. They would do their best to get the word out about us. They would need to be able to make advertising buttons for the site, have ideas about how and where to advertise. It would be best if this person is active in lots of role-play sites, and other forum-based or community websites, like Gaia and MySpace and anime forums.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 25 posts, knowledge of graphics and websites, membership in places where advertising could take place.
Status: Open.

Skin Moderator:
This position is available to two people.
Description: This person would be in charge of creating/editing skins for the board. This is pretty self-explanatory. They would make new layouts, and edit and fix old ones as well. They would set up polls for the new main layout changes and make skins based on the members’ votes.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 10 posts, skill with graphics and websites, and artistic sensibility.
Status: Both positions open.

Game Moderator:

Description: This person will be in charge of setting up new rounds of the games when appropriate, making sure everyone follows the rules for the games, and making sure instructions are posted for each game. They will also help people understand the rules if anyone is having trouble, and propose new games occasionally, if possible.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 10 posts.
Status: Open.

A Note About the Co-admin position:

Any person that shows exceptional skills can be chosen to be a co-admin. These will be chosen and can not be applied for. We look particularly for someone that has either been a member of this board for at least a month or a staff member who has been extremely helpful and has been a staff for at least 3 weeks.

Enormous power will be given to you, so a minumum of 100 posts need to be achieved before you can even think you will be an option. Someone incredibly active, who gives ideas and takes a certain amount of initiative in the board - also someone who is kind, happy and a good RP-er. The Co-Admins are the support staff of the site, the right-hand-(wo)men of the Administrators. They wield incredible power, and have a great amount of responsibility, too.
