Toasted Furuba is a character-oriented roleplay forum that focuses on creating a pleasant environment for all the members. Many Fruits Basket sites are elitist and filled with catty people. You won't find that here! At Toasted Furuba, everyone knows you by name, and you're likely to get hugged within your first week of being here. ^_^ We want to make roleplaying fun for everyone. Because of that, our policy towards accepting applications is somewhat lenient. We do have a minimum amount of skill required, but we also accept members who have room to improve. We understand that you can't get better if no one gives you a chance, and we want to give you that chance! There's a lot you can do around the site. Besides the main role-play, there is also an Unofficial Role-Play where you don't have to submit an application to join in the fun. Our General section offers a place where you can chat about anything you'd like. Our Fruits Basket Discussion has lots of interesting threads that you can add to, and the Fun and Games section is filled with tons of wonderful games you can play, including a Choose Your Own Adventure game! Sign up now and join in on the fun! A Little Bit of History: Toasted Furuba was originally created two and a half years ago by Kim. When she couldn't maintain the board anymore, Annie and Kimiko took over as the Administrators. The site went through rough times and did die for a good while. Kimiko disappeared last year, and Annie resigned as the main Admin. Now the wonderful Gina is running the site, and she is ready to work hard and make this board better than ever! |
The Role-Play has Officially begun, so if you do not have a character yet, apply as soon as possible. Due to the current changes on the board, we require new and retuning members to sign in just to let us know who has returned. Many characters are still available to be played! We still need: Haru, Hatori, Shigure, Kagura, Kureno, Kimi, and more! Special Notice to New Members! If you don't know the spoiler from Chapter 97 of the manga, you may not want to join this site, and you should definitely not join the roleplay! Our role-play functions with that spoiler in place, so if you don't know what it is, you may find yourself disoriented and shocked, and we also make references to that spoiler many, many times around the site. And if you don't know, yes, it is *that* spoiler. |
